1st Friday Kayak Event

Back by popular demand! Enjoy a wonderful guided kayak trip through the historic King William District and after the trip you can walk a block and enjoy 1st Friday at the Blue Star Complex!

This event lasts 1 hour and is a great flat water kayak trip that has amazing views of the downtown skyline & old German style mansions.

When you book this trip you get to park in the San Antonio River Authority’s Parking lot for FREE and you won’t have to pay the $15/$20 parking fee that is charged around the Blue Star Complex.

Kayak Tour & Beer Tasting

Are you adventurous and LOVE BEER?  If so you will love our newest event. We have combined kayaking and beer tasting!

This event start with a wonderful kayak trip along the King William section of the San Antonio Riverwalk. This is an smooth 2-mile, up and back, kayak trip that last 1 hour. During this time you will get to see 18th & 19th century colonial homes and take in the breath taking San Antonio Skyline. After the kayak trip the group will head over to the Blue Star Brewery for tour of the brewery a beer tasting!

The tour and beer tasting is included in in the price of the ticket. (food is not included in the price of the ticket)

2017 River Relay Race

The River Relay is a thrilling and spectator-friendly event that the entire city can enjoy. Held on Saturday, November 11th, 2017, the competitive kayak/run race was created to bring people from all over San Antonio to the redeveloped Mission Reach Trail.  This event gives people an opportunity to see the River from a different perspective, on the water. Register online, get involved in outdoor recreation and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Deaf, Hard of Hearing & ASL Interpreter's

Kayak Tour & Social Event

This is a private event for Deaf & Hard of Hearing community, the Alamo Community College's ASL Interpreting Program. Participants must be at least 21 years old to participate. This event will be conducted in ASL.

This is a private event for Deaf & Hard of Hearing communities and the Alamo Community College’s ASL Interpreting Program. This tour will be lead by our guide NIXO LANNING and will be conducted solely in American Sign Language (ASL).

This event start with a wonderful kayak trip along the King William section of the San Antonio Riverwalk. This is an smooth 2-mile, up and back, kayak trip that last 1 hour.
